AA Service Co. COMFORT CLUB MEMBERSHIPS – HVAC & Plumbing Service Plans

Why should you have a Comfort Club Membership? Because your Home’s Mechanical Systems are the third most expensive asset you own, why not treat them like the investment that they are? We visit a doctor once a year for a physical to ensure our health, we go to the dentist twice a year to prevent cavities, we get the oil changed in our vehicles every 3,000 miles to ensure good operation. Regular maintenance on your home’s mechanical systems ensures the investment in those systems is equally cared for. Regular maintenance is an affordable and highly suggested option for every home!

HVAC Maintenance

  • The typical life expectancy of an HVAC is 10-15 years. Geothermal or higher grade systems should be 12-18 years.
  • How old are your systems?
  • Have you replaced anything since you bought the house?
  • A dirty evaporator coil, condenser, or blower wheel could increase your annual electric bill by as much as $250 / year due to poor operating efficiency.
  • 8 out of 10 HVAC system failures are caused because of dirt, dust, or a lack of maintenance.
  • Refrigerant should never be regularly added to your system.  If you have refrigeration added once, the system more than likely has a leak, and that has to be found and repaired, or the device with the leak needs to be replaced completely.   Regular refilling of a refrigeration system is in bad practice with current national EPA standards.
  • HVAC Systems tend to fail during the times when you need them most, so minimizing emergency replacement is always the goal. Annual maintenance and proactive replacement are the most cost-effective way to ensure the operation of your system when you need it most.
  • Are your systems ready for the season ahead? Proactive replacement is the best option for piece of mind and cost efficiency.

Plumbing Maintenance

  • The typical life expectancy of a water heater is 7-10 years.
  • The typical life expectancy of a sump, ejector, or battery back-up systems is 5-7 years.
  • How old are your systems?
  • Have you replaced anything since you bought the house
  • Unfortunately, when plumbing systems fail, they fail catastrophically!  There are very few indicators that a system is nearing a failure point on plumbing systems, so proactively replacing system is the best practice.
  • Are your systems ready for the season ahead or the next storm?  Plumbing systems should be replaced proactively to reduce the opportunity for catastrophic failure like flooding, leaks, or damage.  Proactive replacement is the best option for piece of mind and cost efficiency.
